Today we have Jaime Perez with Organic Cleaning of Marin. And it was my pleasure to get to interview him.

As Peter Drucker said, “If you work on your business more than in it, then that’s where things really take off”. So now that Jaime is doing this, he’s been growing his revenue, every year is becoming his best year. He’s no longer out there cleaning, he’s actually growing the business. Here’s are his big takeaways:

Without any guide it’s difficult to do. But after I met Steve and I started working with him, everything changed because we made a plan, a map, and we figured out where we were. One thing that we have to be clear about is where we want to go. Once you know where you want to go, it’s very simple. You now know where you want to go and then you can start making a plan to get there.

The most important thing is having someone beside you to guide you. I think that’s the best takeaway because before I met you, I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to do things differently. I wanted to work on my business, but without a clue, for 25 years I was trying to do things differently, but it never happened until we met. 

Sometimes, the biggest setbacks are just an opportunity in disguise. People are great problem solvers but sometimes, fear can lead to inaction or indecision. It’s up to us to recognize them, acknowledge, and take action.
