Through this process of healing I have been learning a lot.
Learning to slow down.
Learning to take small steps forward.
A step forward is a step forward.
Each day I’ve gotten stronger and able to move more. Getting outside as much as I can.
This is another celebration of improvement.
What small steps can you celebrate more?
Going the distance. My endurance has been up and down.
As I walk farther or handle stairs, I’ve also had to give longer space for resting.
I know I’ve often taken less breaks than I really need.
Allowing for recovery is so important.
When and where do you allow for recovery time?
Of course, I have to fit in my cup of cacao. Good fat for my brain.
