Turtles have been a big symbol in my life for the last 5-6 years. After moving away from being a workaholic, turtles have reminded me to slow down.

Guillain-Barré Syndrome has been the biggest slow down in my life and I’m so grateful for it. At the same time turtles have literally been showing up in my life. Hello turtle  🐢❤️

Now turtles have so much more meaning for me. Along with slowing down, they also represent continuing the path, one step at a time. AND when turtles get in the water, they can be really fast… yes FAST. Turtles use the force of the water to go fast. They use their environment and work with it, vs against it. Many of us do things the hard way. Turtles go with the flow.

Life doesn’t have to be hard. Thank you for being here for us turtles.
