Spent some time in the desert 🌵

I often talk about being in nature. I do this because for too many years of my life I hustled so hard. I missed the many beautiful things around me. Now, I love taking time to admire it, be with it, and notice how it makes me feel. At peace. ☀️

So often we think that if we don’t work hard, fast and/or more we won’t achieve what we want, when actually, what I’ve found is that slowing down allows me to see more clearly. This allows me to work smarter. I found many more efficient ways to accomplish my goals by observing more first, then acting.

Nature reminds me of this. A tree grows in giant proportions, growing a little at a time. Seems to be effortless.

I am now experiencing more joy and fulfillment while taking a lot more breaks.

I played my flute for the desert 🌵 and I think it was well received. 😃
