Meet our guest: Melyssa Barrett
Melyssa Barrett is Visa’s Vice President in Identity & Authentication Products. Her responsibilities ensure products meet and maintain appropriate privacy, regulatory and risk requirements while mitigating applicable fraud and credit risks. Her focus includes risk products across the lifecycle including authentication, authorization, credit risk, collections, scoring, and identity.
In her roles, she has developed and managed business intelligence products for issuers and merchants while focusing on optimizing solution delivery for clients.
She is an inclusive leader with a passion for financial services and financial education. She also has held positions in retail banking at Wells Fargo and a variety of management positions at Citibank. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for BALANCE (www.balancepro.org) and several other local community non-profit organizations. More recently, she launched The Jali Podcast delivering content and dialogue regarding diversity and inclusion.
