I was trying to take a picture of this sunset from the bridge over this little river. I dropped my phone off the bridge into the river. I’m still gaining back my hand grip.

Luckily, I was with my son and he said “oh no.” Then I said “we need to go get the phone. Can you go get it for me?”

We went to the end of the bridge and he hiked down to the river. My phone was still on, so you could see the screen under water. He was able to use a stick and get my phone.

He said “got it.“ To which I said “okay, take the picture.” He looked at me like I was crazy. I said, “we are not going through all this and then not get the picture.”

He took the picture. Then I said “we have a shot from down lower now. Everyone takes a picture on the bridge. We have a different angle.”

Can’t help to notice the different angle this whole story takes. Of course, I was calm because I have a water proof phone. Which by the way, my son always wanted me to test the water proof-ness and I wouldn’t. So I finally said “well, now you got to see the water proof phone in action.”  He gave me a good courtesy laugh. 😂
